Ying Zhou, MS, CT

Hi, thank you for visiting my page! I'm Ying, and I'm honored to join you on your journey. My passion lies in working compassionately with adults and teens as they navigate life's diverse challenges—such as anxiety, depression, or the overwhelming pressures of our fast-paced, achievement-driven society.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in a humanistic approach, integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eastern methods. With the foundational belief that everyone possesses an innate capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change, I am deeply committed to creating a therapeutic environment that is safe, respectful, and warm—a place where you can openly share, heal, and thrive. Together, we will collaboratively explore your personal strengths, clarify your core values, create space for difficult emotions, and take committed action towards the life you envision.

I speak both Mandarin and English. My academic background includes training in bioinformatics and psychology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Currently, I am furthering my professional development in the Mental Health Counseling program at the University of Cincinnati, under the thoughtful supervision of Patricia Dittmeier, LPCC-S.

It is truly a privilege to connect with you at this meaningful moment in your life. With support and cooperation, let’s overcome the mountain you face together!

I am currently available for scheduling on Thursdays and Fridays, and I look forward to connecting with you!
