Reese Dorsey, MA, LPC
Are you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you? My name is Reese Dorsey, and many of the individuals I work with are navigating anxiety, mood challenges, trauma, substance use, relationship struggles, or life transitions. Some are teens exploring identity and belonging, while others are adults working to reconnect with themselves or shift long-standing patterns. Whatever you're carrying, my goal is to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and understood.
I offer trauma-informed therapy rooted in a relational-cultural framework that emphasizes connection, collaboration, and authenticity. My approach is eclectic and person-centered—drawing from CBT, ACT, and strengths-based techniques—to tailor our work to your unique needs and goals. I strive to create a space that feels down-to-earth, affirming, and genuinely supportive, where you can show up fully as yourself. I believe healing happens through trust, curiosity, and even a little humor, and I’ll walk alongside you at a pace that feels right for you.
Originally from Columbus, Ohio, I earned my psychology degree from Ohio University and a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cincinnati. Outside the office, I enjoy time with my cat, Fig Newton, gaming, being outdoors, and reconnecting with my soccer roots.
