Julie Schild, MA, LPCC-S

Hi, my name is Julie Schild. I've been a mental health counselor for over 8 years and have enjoyed working with adults from various backgrounds over that time. My style is cooperative - I believe that the therapist's role is to not just sit back and listen but to be active in promoting change in your life. The connection we form is the foundation and I use approaches based in cognitive behavioral and dialectal behavioral therapies to build upon that foundation. I hope you consider counseling as an option to make the changes you are seeking.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family. As an outdoors enthusiast, I love being surrounded by nature, whether that's hiking, gardening or just being outside. Faith is an important part of my life and for those interested, I am happy to incorporate a Christian perspective into our work together.
